One hard-working employee has FINALLY been given her due—a FREE CAR from her co-workers!

Linda Walton woke up at 5:00 a.m. every morning to get to her job at a cleaning company in Tennessee. Because she didn’t have a car, she had to walk over a mile and then take a two-hour bus ride, for a daily journey of around SIX HOURS total.

Whew. Most of us would probably be unemployed at that point, but Walton was going strong and making it into work every day. Now that’s dedication!!!

Yet, this amazing woman never complained. In fact, her coworkers didn’t even KNOW that she had such a hellish commute everyday. She would wake up hours earlier just to get to work on time.

Walton says “it’s just the last few years I’ve been going through a struggle.”

At last, she has finally been given her come-up in the form of a CAR from her coworkers!!!

It all started when one co-worker offered her a ride home one day. The co-worker realizes that Walton had been walking about 40 minutes from the bus to her house, and the next morning she told her boss, the owner of the cleaning company, about Walton’s ordeal.

The owner, Krissy Tammaro, said “we knew what we had to do. As a group, we came together.”

Another employee found a used car for sale, and the staff pooled the money to buy it. Finally, Tammaro invited Walton over to her house one weekend and the whole staff surprised her with a 1998 Grand Prix.

In addition to the car, the staff bought Walton new tires, the first month of car insurance, $100 in gas and an oil change.

Walton said she was “totally surprised” by the free car.

The car has made her life WORLDS easier. “It’s like night and day. You would never understand. It’s a hard, long commute.”

This is truly a case of co-workers sticking up for each other and acting like family. Walton recently lost her mom, which makes her co-worker fam all the more important.

No more riding the bus for this hard-working woman! We hope she spends those six freed up hours treating herself, ‘cause she deserves it.
