You Can FINALLY Download Shows & Films On Netflix!

Goodbye, Wifi. We won't be needing you anymore. Netflix lets us download content now...take that, buffering!

As of November 30th, all Netflix users worldwide will be able to download TV shows and films for offline viewing, at no extra cost. (yaaaaas!)

Their official statement explains their new feature: "While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where internet is expensive or limited. Just click the download button on the details page for a film or TV series and you can watch it later without an internet connection."

Yes. Netflix, you TOTALLY get us. Whether you find yourself traveling a lot, or if you just hate dealing with a below-average wifi connection everywhere you go, this feature is made for you.

The feature will be available on iOS, Android and tablets, but is currently not available on your laptop. (We're hoping this changes soon!)

At the moment, only current selections are available for download, however, according to Buzzfeed, “Netflix is working with lots of partners globally to get downloading rights for the bulk of the content on our service. This is an ongoing effort as we know consumers want this capability and we are working to provide it.”

Although the feature could use a lot of improvement, we're just excited to see that it exists! Thank you, Netflix. 🙌
