Let's face it. There's lots of reasons people lie. They don't feel like being bothered sometimes...so that's when they'll lie... "tell 'em I ain't home."
Or they get tired of loaning you money so they'll say "tell 'em I ain't got it." Sometimes it might be your fault...you pushed them into it. Nah, that's a lie, too. Ooops.
It's usually because...well the truth is hard. You got bill collectors, exes, and all kinds of people needing to know all kinds of things about your business. Or sometimes, even with good friends, it's just easier to lie. Like for those of us who run perpetually late...you know when they ask, "how close are you?" what you're answer is gonna be. Yup, bingo...."on my way!

2. "I got a Indian in my family." Nah, you got Indian hair in your family...that you bought at the swap meet.

4. "I’ll be right back." Always a lie....don't trust it.
5. "Can I borrow this? I’ll give it right back." That would be a first.
6. "That’s my cousin." We like this definition...this is kinda true.
7. "Let me call you right back." Never wait on this. Not gonna happen.
8. I’ve been calling and texting you all day....which people lie about less since caller ID. But they'll still try you won't they? Lies!
