Students Busted For Cheating After They Came Crashing Through The Ceiling

When you think about cheating, you often think about that time you probably looked over someone's shoulder in the fifth grade. For these University of Kentucky students, their cheating scheme was much bigger than that. They decided that they were going to break into their professor's office through the ceiling ducts and steal the answers to their upcoming Statistics exam.

Unluckily for Henry Lynch II and Troy Kiphuth, the 21-year-old masterminds behind the affair, their professor was working late in his office when they tried to break in. Once this professor saw the men in the ceiling ducts, he shouted that he was going to call the police. The duo managed to get away from their professor but not from the police.

The students were charged with third degree burglary by their local precinct, and the University has yet to determine what their punishment may be. Pretty crazy, right?

What is even crazier is that Lynch has successfully stolen three exams and their answers using this method before. He knew exactly what he was doing and thought that he had it all figured out. Unfortunately for him, he did not account for his professor staying up until one thirty in the morning. You win some. You lose some.

Lynch, a junior, and Kiphuth, a sophomore, were studying in the school's engineering department—with different focuses respectively. But it looks as if their degrees will be as altered as their criminal records. Forever will they have to deal with the repercussions of trying to get a good grade on a test for which they did not want to study.

Let this be a lesson to potential cheaters everywhere. You will get caught eventually, so either study or take the low grade. It's really not worth it.
