Youtube Star Auntie Fee Suffers Heart Attack, In Critical Condition

Auntie Fee, the viral sensation famous for her foul mouth and over-the-top recipes, is in critical condition after suffering a heart attack.

Felicia O’Dell rocketed to internet stardom a few years back, after her son posted a video of her cooking to the web. Since then, her Youtube channel has garnered more than half a million subscribers, and she’s even appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Fee has received more than her fair share of criticism since her popularity took off – many have said that she needs to clean up her act, claiming she’s a bad representative for the African American community. Still others say her recipes are horribly unhealthy. But Fee has never strayed from being true to herself, and has become something of a hero for, as she put it, “keeping it 100.”

Unfortunately, it might be that Fee’s eating habits contributed to her current condition. A family member told reporters that she’d refused to change her diet, insisting that her father had eaten everything he ever wanted and lived to 99 years old.

Fee is currently unresponsive in Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. TMZ earlier misreported that she’d already died, which sent a huge amount of her fans into mourning. It's since been revealed that she's still alive, though struggling.

“She’s in pretty bad shape,” according to a family member. “But we’re praying she pulls out of this.”
