"Rizzoli and Isles" actor Lee Thompson Young shocked his friends and family when in 2013 he shot and killed himself at the age of 29. 

Young had been suffering for

years with bipolar disease and depression. 

Sigh...he had so many years left to share his talent with us. 

The "Living All Alone" singer seemed to have been suffering alone as well. 

In 1995, at the age of 45, Phyllis Hyman, committed suicide by overdosing on meds in the bedroom

of her New York City apartment. 

She left a note stating, “I’m tired. I’m tired. Those of you that I love know who you are. May God bless you.”

The King of Soul Train took his own life back in 2012 after battling a number of health issues for years, including seizures as a result from brain surgery he had

in 1982. 

It's also believed that he was suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, which prompted him to take his own life at 75-years-old.

Poor Don. 

Up and coming rapper Seattle rapper Freddie E killed himself in 2013 after he Tweeted that he was lonely and didn't trust his friends anymore. 

"I feel like everyone's out

to get me," he wrote. 

He was only 22.

Singer Simone Battle, who appeared on "The X Factor" and became a member of G.R.L., the follow-up group to the Pussycat Dolls, died at the young age of 25.

Her family also said their daughter was concerned that she was "never going to make it big"

Mark Salling, who played Puck on "Glee," was facing a long stint in prison for child pornography before he hung himself this week. 

While Mark said he wanted to take

responsibility for his crimes, apparently his upcoming sentencing may have been too much for him to handle. 

No one really knows what was going on in Chief's player Jovan Belcher's mind when he ended his life. 

But what we do know is that he drove his Bentley about

five miles to a parking lot at the Chiefs’ practice facility next to Arrowhead Stadium and shot himself in the head.

This was after he killed his girlfriend and mother

of his child, Kasandra Perkins. Sources claim the two were fighting over money and his time commitment to the NFL. 

Veteran music manager Chris Lighty, best known for repping folks such as 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Ja Rule and Mariah Carey, allegedly killed himself in 2012.

It's believed that

after a heated argument with his estranged wife, he ended is life in his Bronx apartment. 

Chris was only 44.

NFL legend and former linebacker Junior Seau, 43, was found dead in his California home back in 2012. 

Police say he shot himself in the chest. 

Later, the coroner found that

Junior suffered from CTE--chronic traumatic encephalopathy--a neurodegenerative disease that can lead to dementia, memory loss and depression.

As many of us know, CTE is common among NFL players and athletes

who get hit in the head a lot while playing. 

Black folks have been loving Chester Bennington ever since he and his band Linkin Park did that album with Jay-Z back in 2004. 

But sadly, Chester, who was a spokesperson

for mental health and suicide prevention, took his own life last year. 

In July 2017, his maid found him hanging from a belt in his home. 

His wife shared that

her husband was laughing hours before he took his life. Others admit that Chester also struggled with addiction issues as well.
