A mashup is when two separate items come together in a glorious burst of life to create something altogether new and entirely different. You may have heard the term when it comes to your radio --- like pairing Carly Rae Jepson with Nine Inch Nails. Well you can also do some kick ass mashups with food! 

The idea is simply but wacky. How to make food look like something else ENTIRELY different from what it is? We went exploring and found some eye-popping mashups that you probably wouldn't think of on your own - because we certainly didn't! These are worth eating, but we left out the crazy ones that we couldn't get the pets to eat.
