If you've never seen a John Hughes film, this is a great place to start. A wonderful trip back to the 80's and all the drama of being 16.

Before Affleck was Batman and Damon was always stranded in space, they broke onto the scene with Good Will Hunting. This movie features wonderful performances and reflects on the hardships of

life, love, and choosing to live up to your potential. Probably stuff you can really relate to in your 20's.

Still one of Leonardo DiCaprio's best performances this movie holds up 100%. Johnny Depp is great as he manages a difficult family life while still trying to find a path

of his own.

Critics may not laud this as the height of cinema, but this film is friggin' awesome. Heath Ledger is a top level dreamboat and if you do Julia Stiles' poem

monologue at a party, everyone will know the words. We promise you'll love it because we "don't hate you. Not even a little bit. Not even at all."

Okay, you really do have to see Pulp Fiction. It cemented Quentin Tarantino's status as an insanely imaginative writer/director and it's just straight up great. Watch it. Now.

If you've ever been heartbroken, and who hasn't, sometimes you wish you could forget the whole thing ever happened. This brilliant movie explores what would happen if you really could

erase your memories and how love manages to always find a way.

This Oscar winning film has not gotten enough praise in recent years, but it's still a classic. With a great performance from Joaquin Phoenix that made him a household name

and an interesting look at Roman history, Gladiator is well worth watching.

Okay, this movie looks like it's about dumb disco machismo with a Bee Gees soundtrack. But this is actually a great movie. Dealing with lower class lives in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

and trying to escape from your everyday lives, this movie gets real. Plus, John Travolta is a great dancer and the fashions alone make it worth seeing.

We can all relate to our families embarrassing the hell out of us around a new boyfriend. And if you haven't gotten married yet, this film serves as a warning

to some of the craziness you'll have to deal with. Plus, this movie's hilarious and features a normal looking girl nailing a hot guy, so we recommend it for that

alone.
