Lil Wayne's career spans some two decades, including 13 studio albums, over 16 mixtapes, and three Young Money albums. Through all that material, there was a stretch there in the mid-to-late aughts when Weezy's mixtape drops were events. Datpiff needed extra bandwidth to handle the attention.  Tha Carter albums are legendary. All five have gone at least Gold. Also, in and around Tha Carter III Lil Wayne was considered the best rapper alive. Complex recently polled Wayne as being the best rapper breathing twice: in 2006 and 2008. 

So narrowing down songs is hard. Wayne's got Santa bags filled with classics off his albums. Then, there are his mixtape records, and, of course, his literally three year stint as the best feature in rap.
