The younger you are when you get married, the more memories you share. If you marry your high school or college sweetheart, you have lots of moments you got to

experience together. Whether it's moving into a dorm, starting an internship or graduating from school, you had your biggest fan supporting you, making the event all the more special.

When you don't have much money, you can't waste much money. And most young couples start their married lives in debt, or living paycheck to paycheck. While this seems like

a bad thing, it actually helps you learn to be wiser with how your spend your hard earned dough.

When you don't have a lot of relationships in your past, you don't have as much baggage. This means your relationship is healthier and not so full of drama. 

Going from living on your own to living with your spouse can be a huge change. And while many couples choose to live together before tying the knot,

that brings its own challenges. If you get married while you're still young enough to be on your parents' insurance policy, you'll learn how to work together with your spouse

to start making your house a home.

When you get married, you realize that all those rom-coms you watch are way off when it comes to the reality of married life. And the sooner you discover this

truth, the better your life will be. You learn hard lessons about sacrifice, forgiveness and commitment when you get married, and if you can learn those lessons while you're still

impressionable, it'll be easier to work through them in the long run.

Findings show that the happiest 20-somethings are those who are married. Those who are single or living with a partner rate their happiness lower. And those in the 22-25 age

group have the greatest likelihood of staying married.

The lower number of people you date, the less disappointment you experience. When you marry young, you are more satisfied with simple things. The longer you wait for that "dream

wedding," the easier it is to build it up as a fantasy which is unlikely to come true. Young couples learn how to be happier early on, so when amazing

things happen later in life, they are pleasantly surprised.

When big things happen, like a graduation, a promotion or another reason to celebrate, it's always great to have someone to celebrate with. Young married couples go through all those

big moments together, making them more enjoyable.

Remember that night you got really drunk and puked all over yourself? You'll be very thankful that the only person who witnessed it is the person you've committed your life

to. It's awesome to have things to look back on when you were young and crazy, but when you have someone to look back and laugh about those things with,

they don't seem as embarrassing.

Nobody likes to think that their marriage will end in divorce. But if it does, and you're young, you still have plenty of time to experience new things- and maybe

new relationships. By the time your relationship does end, you'll already have a bank of relationship knowledge and a maturity that will prepare you for whatever your future holds.

On

the other hand, if your marriage does sustain the test of time, you've got that many more years to share with the person you love!
