Am I the only one who thinks Lucious Lyon is the worst TV dad ever?! He's a homophobe, even though his son is homosexual and he's against his other son's

interracial relationship. He's disrespectful to his wife and I just can't stand him. Sorry. 

"Family Guy" is a fantastic show...but, Peter Griffin isn't the best dad. He constantly tells Meg she's ugly, he doesn't pay attention to Stewie, and he's not exactly a good

role model for Chris. But, he's hilarious so that's why he's not dead last.

This dude put his entire family in jeopardy for money. So yeah, he's horrible. 

Walter White started off as a good dad (sort of). He started selling drugs supposedly to take care of his family but then he got so involved with it all,

he basically forgot who his family was. 

Homer is dysfunctional and probably the opposite of a "good father." But hey, the show is entertaining!

Al Bundy was the world's most cynical father in this show. And you know what's funny? The actor who plays him, Ed O' Neill, is a dad in "Modern Family."

He's pretty cynical in that show, too. 

George Bluth is interesting, to say the least. He's a messed up businessman who's incredibly sketchy. But he's the head of his family and he tries his best...I think. 

Christopher was so annoying! He was always complaining about something and pouting whenever he didn't get his way. I was not a fan of his. Although he did love his daughter,

Rory, he was kind of shitty and absent father. 

The king of avoiding parenthood, Gob Bluth, would be last on this list if it weren't for the fact he didn't know he had a kid from the beginning. Maybe

things would've been different...doubt it. 

Luke Danes was more of a father to Rory and his nephew, Jess, than their own fathers. And for reason, he's made this list!

Frank is the definition of shameless. There probably isn't a messier dad in TV history. He's a horrible father and a horrible person, but he raised some pretty good kids

(well, I'm not sure if "good" is the best word) and he's a joy to watch. Honestly, Frank is my favorite character in "Shameless." 

So, I love Aaron Hotchner. I do. He's a great man and he loves his kid, Jack. But at the same time, I think he should've quit his job after

his wife was murdered and his son's life was challenged. He finally left for Jack but it took a little too long if you ask me. 

Dr. Walter Bishop. Hmmm. I have a love/hate relationship with him. I get that he was sad when his son was taken but the things he did to fill the void (I

don't want to give any spoiler alerts) was not so good. But he was a bloody genius and I respected him...most of the time. 

Don't get me wrong, Paul Young loves his son. BUT, putting Zach into a mental institution to protect the secrets that were going on in the family was nuts. 

To be honest, most of the dads on "Gossip Girl" had their issues. But this dude, Bart Bass, blamed Chuck for everything. Even his mom's death!...It was very rude. 

Stannis sentenced his daughter to death. So, yeah. He's not a good papa.

But...we're assuming he wanted to rule with nobel intentions? So, he's a decent father figure to all his

people?

Clay Morrow did a lot of bad stuff! He tried to have his stepson's wife killed! I'm sorry, but any dad who murders for selfish reasons isn't going to get the

Father of the Year Award. 

Can't have a good wife without a bad father. See what I did there? Peter Florrick is all about politics and his kids came second in his life (like many

other politicians in the world). 

No father should plot his sons against each other in order to get one to murder the other. That's just Dad 101. 

First things first, I need to say how much I loved this show! "Revenge" was my jam and I feel like it didn't get nearly enough attention. Watch it on

Netflix if you haven't already. 

Moving on, while I love most of the characters on this show, Conrad Grayson isn't one of them. This dude ruined lives and tried to kill his

biological daughter so his secrets wouldn't come to life. Rude!

Sure, I can blame a lot of Thatcher's wrongdoings on his eccentric ex-wife (aka Meredith's mom). But, he still could've tried to be a part of Meredith's life instead of

slapping her in the face when his new-wife died. It's great that Thatcher was a good dad to his other family but still...he's not a good dad to Meredith. And

he's a complete mess.

Ron Swanson didn't become a daddy until he married Diane and became a stepfather to her two daughters. Even though Ron seems like a hard-ass (which he is) he's the ideal

father to those kiddos because he's giving, smart, and knows how to survive off little to nothing. He'll teach those girls some important life skills. 

Rowan may love Olivia but he lied to her about pretty much everything. Sure, maybe those lies are now in the past but who knows? At the end of the day,

Rowan will do anything to protect himself. 

No dad is as proud of his kids as Murray Goldberg is. Murray is a little eccentric and un-apologetic but he's the definition of a loving father. 

Burt Hummel was a great dad to Kurt and an amazing stepdad to Finn before he died. He accepted Kurt for being gay, which is better than we can say

for other TV dads. Cheers to you, Burt. 

"Full House" was all about Uncle Jesse. John Stamos played this role and I will forever know him as this playful, loving Uncle. 

There has yet to be a show as good as "Growing Pains." Jason Seaver was a great dad and the actor who played him, Alan Thicke, was a pretty good

dad too. R.I.P.

Carl Winslow was police officer goals! He did his job well and ran his household like a true BOSS. How he didn't kill Urkel is still a mystery to me.

(He was annoying as hell lol.)

This actor played a not so good dad in "Breaking Bad" and a super great dad in "Malcolm in the Middle." Remember that episode where we got to see him roller

skate like an absolute pro?? That was hilarious!

Arthur Spooner is a goofball. I rarely ever know what he's talking about but he's a pleasure to watch and he genuinely cares for his daughter and her husband. Yes,

he's a helicopter parent but that's what makes him such a good dad. 

Randall Pearson kind of annoys me at times. His personality is just a little too controlling, but there's no denying he's a great father to his daughters.

"8 Simple Rules" was a great show until Paul died. That was devastating and mainly because the reason the character died was because the actor who played him passed away. Still

recovering from that loss. 

"Santa Clarita Diet" is probably the weirdest show on Netflix right now. The premise is nuts but the writing is witty and Joel Hammond is a funny as heck dad. 

Red Forman is a hard ass. He acts like he doesn't love his son, but he does. He just doesn't show his emotions...like, at all. But Red is there for all

the kids in this show and he's one of the reasons why I'd like this show to be revived. Bring back "That '70s Show!"

Derek Morgan is an amazing man, husband, and friend. He's drop-dead gorgeous, too. But what makes him a fantastic father is that he quit his job in order to make

sure he was home every night to tuck his little guy into bed. Adorable.

Mitchell Pritchett and Cam Tucker are in fourth and fifth place but that doesn't mean one is a better dad than the other. Both these two have different things to

bring when it comes to fatherhood, but they both love each other and their baby girl equally.

"The Bernie Mac Show"  has been off since 2006. And even though Bernie Mac passed away, he'll never be gone in our hearts. His sassy attitude and strict demeanor were

very entertaining to watch. Yes, his kids were usually pissed at him, but they loved him and he loved them. 

Phil Dunphy is easiest the best TV dad ever! He's goofy, kind, and always there for his family. There's nothing Phil won't do for his kids and he's proven that

in almost every episode. Phil is the best and his obsession with magic and techy gadgets is something we can all stand behind. 

Is there a better dad than Jack Pearson? No, there's not! Jack's not a perfect person, his struggle with alcohol was hard to watch but there's nothing Jack won't do for

his kids. He'll even risk his life by running into a burning building to save his daughter's dog. Smh. Still can't stop crying over that episode.
