This is something I truly believe:

When I was a young lad, I was taught to have respect for my elders; it's a lesson I still adhere to today. BUT, if this maxim is true, then it's inverse should also hold true. 

Older people should respect, or at the very least, try to understand, the younger generation. In 2016, this means that those above 35 need to start respecting us millenials!

I can already see my parents rolling their eyes at that last line. So many adults hate on the millenial culture, whether it's our constant-checking of social media or our aimless wandering in our early 20s. But I have this theory that adults don't actually hate millenials, but rather, they just don't fully understand our culture. 

So for all our readers, young and old, here are 5 things people just don't really get about millenials.
