Usually, when you think about reading the back of labels for the sake of your health and well-being, food products come to mind. But the next time you’re in a drug or department store, do us a favor. Read the ingredients that are in your favorite foundation, blush or lipstick. We’ll be shocked if you can pronounce them all, let alone get a grasp of what they are… and what they could be potentially doing to your body.

Sometimes we forget that anything that we put on our skin (or scalp) gets into our pores. That’s why it’s important to be aware of what kind of make-up you use and to try a few natural beauty hacks from time to time too.

As far as the natural ones go, take a chance on a few of these. You might be surprised by the results and you’ll definitely be happy with how good they'll be to your health!
