Here’s a dose of old-fashioned wisdom that can spare you a lot of heartache: Don’t act like you’re married when you’re not. Here’s what we mean by that. Dating is the time to get to know someone better. But when we’re really into them, sometimes we as women make the mistake of giving our all when there are no guarantees (paperwork, wedding ring, vows, etc.). When that happens, we end up giving all of our heart and loyalty like they’re our husband when they’re simply our boyfriend.
