Janet Jackson is a boss. She was one way before now (she is the late MJ’s sister and has sold over 100 million records worldwide). But when she announced last year that she was pregnant, it put a smile on a lot of our faces. Yes, we were excited for her and her growing family. But for those of us who are over 35, it was a reminder that despite what the stats may say, getting pregnant later in life is not an impossibility. Not by a LOOOOOONG shot!

First things first. Janet, congrats to you and your husband Wissam Al Mana on the birth of your little bundle of joy Eissa Al Mana. At 50 (yes y'all...50!!!), you are just as beautiful and inspiring as you ever were. 

She's also living proof that if you’re a woman who wants to have a baby and you’re closer to her age than not, here are some ways to significantly increase your chances of having some news to share with your family and friends…soon.
