The idea of swimming in a random river you know nothing about…on top of the temperature. Bone chilling. On many levels. 

This one doesn’t sound super gross until you realize he gets stung so much that his face turns into that dude from “Mask.”

Look, this is something society does on the regular, so it’s not THAT bad. But doing it on the boat, in the middle of the ocean? Scandalous. 

All I can think of when watching someone writhing around in quicksand is weird worm monsters. “Star Wars” and “Dune” have ruined me for life. 

This one isn’t all that gross, but when you think of everything that can go wrong, you get skeeved out. He could have ended up as a bloody mush of

guts in the waves.

Hunting is a common thing people do, so it’s not THAT gross, but using archaic traps built out of wood to needlessly stab your prey in 14 different places is

a little over the top. 

I may come off as whiny here, but the idea of picking up a writhing, scaly fish is creepy on many levels. 

Take spearfishing and subtract the spear. Catching a cold, slimy fish that’s writhing around in the water is just straight up creepy. 

Eating something small that can eat you right back is creepy. Add in the fact that he wasn’t “sure” about the water (as in it’s safety) and you’re just playing

with fire. 

This dude just loves pulling living things out of the water. Eels are like water snakes... In other words, they’re disturbing as heck and should be avoided at all costs. 

Sand crabs are like the spiders of the ocean. Eating them and all of their writhing legs is a no-no in my book.

This one is gross in a hypothetical way. And a moral way. I mean, I GUESS I would CONSIDER eating a person if need be, but Hannibal Lecter over here

is too gung-ho about it. 

Spiders only belong crushed under a shoe, or inside of a glass waiting to be put outside if not too gnarly. In a mouth? No thank you.

Does it do that bubble throat thing when it's going down YOUR throat???

At least when he ate this thing, he cooked it. You’ll see later on that this isn’t always the case…

Aaaaaaaaand, here we go. He’s moved on from cooking his creepy crawlies to just shoving them right into his mouth off the rainforest floor. 

Which is worse? A frog or an insect? If it has more than 4 legs, it’s way worse in my book.

No legs? Even worse (er?) than something with more than 4 legs. If it has no legs, it spends its day pulsing and slithering to get around. No thanks. 

You do what you gotta do. Sure, it’s not as bad as eating a person, but this absolutely isn’t something he would do just in theory. 

How is this worse than drinking pee? Because it stays with you. All day. Until the sun goes down and it freezes to your head. At least with drinking it,

you’re done in like 10 minutes and the evil act is over. 

This is like that time Wendy’s accidentally made a mouse burger. But this is on purpose.

I’m sorry, when did Bear become a vampire? I missed the memo. This is just plain creepy. 

Somehow this is worse than yak blood? It’s like he’s bleeding Christmas itself dry.

Those things sure are creepy lookin’. Wrestling around in the muck with one and catching it can’t be fun. At least he cooked his food this time around, though. 

In the grand scheme of things he has eaten, this isn’t so bad. The fact that he randomly found it skittering around on his body, plucked it off, and ate

the thing is a step too far. 

Those things that you find on rotten stuff? I get that eating them isn’t the same as eating rotten meat, but come on. It’s still nasty. They’re like clumps of

butter that have come to life.  

So many nopes. Rotten, nope. Cutting it out, nope. Eating it raw, nope. I’m sure there are more nopes I haven’t even thought of yet. Yet. 

I wrestled with this. Is it worse than the eyeball? Yes. Because, balls. They probably smelled exactly how you imagine they would smell. Maybe worse. 

And is this worse than goat balls? Yes, because it involves murdering a cute little sheep. I get that they may not smell as cute as they look, but come

on. 

Somehow, the idea of stooping to rat consumption seems like the lowest of the low. Maybe because "rats" had a hefty contribution to spreading the Bubonic Plague.

Holding a wet, slippery, scaly fish is weird to begin with. Add in eating it in exactly that form and I break out in a case of the willies. 

I’m sorry, are we on the planet Hoth? No, we are on Earth, and you go and find an AirBnb instead of sleeping amongst entrails. 

See previous. But add in the fact that a camel has to smell even worse than a deer on the inside. 

Buffalo Bill, is that you? I’m sorry that science isn’t at the point where one can morph into other species, but you can’t just go around wearing animal skin suits. 

Coming across a random dead animal is not an excuse to go to chow town. Especially if your reasoning involves the fact that the meat is okay to eat raw

because there are no maggots on it. 

I get that trying to aim is hard, and when you drink your own pee a nice mug would be great. But using a snake is not okay. It takes

the penis metaphor waaaay too far. 

Is the fact that he did this even surprising anymore? No, it’s not. But it’s still up there with the grossest things he’s done. 

Snakes deserve to be the subject of a Simpsons-esque Whacking Day, NOT eaten. They have no right to enter our bodies. Eww. 

What’s worse than eating animal poop? Drinking it in wet, sloppy stew form. Nothing says “mmmmmm” like dung! 

What’s worse than drinking elephant dung juice? Drinking camel dung juice. And here I thought camels were only good for the water they stored in their humps.
