This doesn’t have to be your current boss, or an old teacher. This is someone in the field you’re interested in that you respect on a business level. They are

doing what you want to do, so they’re the one you want to be close with and learn from along the way.

Don’t be scared of being away from being a student that you go and enroll in more school just because. Grad school isn’t that important for certain fields, so think

twice before getting more in debt.

Why? Because when you go to apply to really legit, professional jobs you will look right as heck for the position when you walk in with a letter of recommendation from

a professor.

People don’t realize how far a smile and a little effort can take them in this world.

Jobs aren’t dumb. Today they aren’t just looking at resumes nowadays, they have your first and last name and are checking Facebook which may or may not lead them to

your Snapchat, Instagram and Tumblr.

No matter what industry you’re in, it’s all about who you know so take advantage of that.

If you aren’t liking the companies around you, create your own. It may seem daunting but if you’re passionate all that extra work will be worth it.

It may seem overwhelming right now, but just take a deep breath, get your ideas organized (perhaps down on paper) and know that you got this!
