Philippe Starck is a titan in the interior design world. His work, like many on the list, is considered art. Besides interior design, he's created toothbrushes, motorcycles and sanitary ware.

In 1982 he designed the interior for the French presidential palace! He even designs furniture, including the above famous "ghost chair." 

The ghost chair isn't spooky enough to scare

you, but damn if it isn't cool to sit on a ghost. Starck also preaches "democratic design," meaning he wants to design amazing items that aren't just for the

upper class. The ghost chair is counted among these designs, even though it retails for $450.

He also certainly designs interiors, like this one for French restaurant Paradis du Fruit. It

definitely creates a unique experience for sophisticated diners and lovers of fruit close-up pictures alike.

Wearstler counts Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale among her clients (which means she now gets to design two separate estates). She also designs the Viceroy and Tides hotels, and she

even acted as a judge on Bravo's "Top Design."

Just look at the above lobby in the Viceroy Miami. Where do you even get a pair of teal obelisks?!

Wearstler has many tricks up her sleeve, and never seems to miss when it comes to modern, upscale designs. 

Yes, she's the daughter of that Jagger. She counts interior design as one of her many professions, and she doesn't just Paint It Black (it's a Rolling Stones song, millenials).

Babysat by Andy Warhol as a child, she also expresses her limitless creativity in jewelry and art.

Working with renowned studio YOO, Jade designed the Lodha Fiorenza in Mumbai,

which features areas like the one above.

Another renowned designer who fuses contemporary designs into her aesthetic, Emily Summers creates spaces and furnishings in a different way than anyone else on this list. Her appealing interior work

allows a space's true architectural beauty to shine through.

If you combined Jamie Drake with rapper Drake, your "Views from the 6" would be incredible.  Drake (the designer) has worked on a number of influential projects, including the show

apartment at One57, the "Billionaire's Building" luxury skyscraper in the center of Manhattan.

Just look how Drake masterfully uses color. Views from the One57 - apartments start at a

number that would make you spit out your drink.

Britt has spent over 40 years combining European sensibility into contemporary design. He's also created custom furniture to go with "fine antiques and artwork that he sources from around

the globe." He's designed beautiful spaces for a number of international royal families.
