I LOVE watching Say Yes To The Dress, but I always find myself feeling sympathetic when a bride's family urges her to wear her mom's (or grandma's) old gown. Some of the looks are still fabulous – like flower crowns and lace sleeves — but others should stay in their respective eras (lookin' at you, shoulder pads).
Everything about weddings — especially the dresses — has changed so much over the years; it's kind of funny to look back and see what we thought was ~fashionable~ back in the day.
