The must-have color for this fall season is pumpkin. Should be no surprise there since it’s the time of year for bonfires, harvest festivals and of course, Halloween. It can

be a mini skirt (mini skirt suits are trending too), turtleneck or an accessory like a backpack (also in style), scarf or pair of gloves. Just make sure something in

your wardrobe is this color. It’s such a signature look for fall.

You can still wear your skirts and even some of your shorts. You just need to keep your legs warm with the help of some tights; preferably opaque ones. Don’t

think that it has to be a boring neutral color either. The brighter, the better! Get a couple that have some prints and patterns to them too.

Usually, we’re trying to get women out of sweats, but not this fall. This is the season when unisex sweats are the talk of the fashion blogs! And yes, we

did say “unisex”, so feel free to go into the men’s section of stores if you don’t see what you want on the women’s side. Remember that you can always

accessorize to make them look a bit more feminine (if you want).

As far as dresses go, look for something Bohemian. The cool thing about this option is you should be able to find this style at a department store or a

local thrift store. Boho chic continues to be one of the most visually appealing looks around.

You’re not going to be able to get a string of pearls for under $200. But you can find some costume jewelry that is the perfect alternative. Whether it’s at

a store in the mall like Claire’s or on a website like Etsy’s, have a ball buying lots of strings in all sorts of colors. You can never have too

many.

This is not the year to be shy about your earrings. Rather than studs and small hoops, look for BIG earrings! They will look so good with your big floppy

hat or your sleek ponytail.

OK, here’s an interesting look that’s pretty popular right now. Socks and shoes. It doesn’t matter what kind of shoe either. Whether it’s lace-up pumps, some sling backs or your

favorite flats, put some socks on underneath. 

As for make-up, this is the season for lots of glitter. As for hair, this is the season for the color copper. And as for accessories, it’s all about metallic.

A metallic purse is something you can easily find, even at stores like Target. Sure it’s no designer bag, but it a gold or silver bag will still be eye-catching

and the envy of all your friends, no matter how much you paid for it. (Wink.)
