Gallery: What Happens When an Inner-City School Has Kids Meditate, & How to Get Your Kiddos Started

Once reserved for new-age, experimental Quaker schools, meditation is now becoming more and more common on school grounds, especially in the schools where there may appear to be the least peace. 

There were 41 murders in the neighborhood of this San Francisco school before the program. The principal had encountered handguns at recess, and vandalism taking place before breaks.
