It seems like every other show out there today is set in either New York City or Los Angeles. Think about it? From Friends to New Girl, those two huge cities on either coast always get the glory. Here’s the thing though, we know that the south is as great a landscape as any to showcase drama, comedy and more. 

That’s why we love when our favorite shows are based in places like New Orleans, North Carolina, Texas and more. Even more so, now we can binge on them all the time because a lot of them are available for quick consumption on Netflix. Now let’s take a look at the best shows set in the south!
