Here's How To Not Get Fat While Drinking

Ever heard that alcohol makes you fat? Out of all of the information (and misinformation) that’s floating around in cyberspace, that’s one you can believe! The reason is because alcohol contains a lot of calories. Another thing is if you eat while you drink, alcohol has the ability to turn your food’s calories into fat. That’s because your body is smart. When alcohol hits your liver, it sends a message that it’s a toxin, not a food. This means that the energy that was going into processing your food now goes into getting the toxins out. That can cause fat to store up in your system.

Is the moral to the story to swear off drinking altogether? C’mon. How much fun would that be? The moral is to simply drink smart, not hard. And, to also take our suggestions for other things that you can do to keep a tummy bugle from becoming (too much of) an issue.
