It may seem a little middle school, but making him a lunch along with a note that says, "I love you," will be worth a lot to him.

Making him look even better than usual in front of people that  count on him will do wonders for his self image.

Figure out a tough chore he normally handles and do it every once in a while to show him that you keep him around for more than just work. 

You can help him simplify his morning routine, which will show him that you care about how he spends his time. 

You will show him that your conversations are more important than whatever else is going on at that moment. Taking time to focus will mean a lot to him. 

Show that you know what he likes by having this ready for him when he gets home. 

Guys need more alone time to recharge than women do. Let him go off and do his thing. He will like having the breathing room. 

He will always appreciate that you take his view into account when you make decisions. 

Every once in  awhile drop everything and have some fun with him. It doesn't have to be an incredibly long session. Just make it nice for him.

He'll come to you to vent and you should listen, because it won't happen often.
