Over the years, I have come to learn that time means very little. On the other hand, time well spent means everything. Whether you’ve been friends for 2 years or

20 years, your ride or die will respect you enough to keep things 100. There’s a level of transparency that exist between the two of you, and you won’t have

to hear how they’re feeling from anyone but them.

A ride or die friend is a title well-earned. You don’t just go around blessing folks with that position. With that being said, you know damn well who your homie

is through and through, so much to the point that when someone tells you that your friend said this or that, you already know it is bulls***. That’s how tight

y’all should be. Just sayin.

You may still keep in touch, but true friends understand that the friends of today will not be the same people 10 years from now. They don’t give you s***

for changing and understand that nothing or no one stays completely the same. In fact, they have so much faith in your bond that they welcome change.
