Huge Pores? 6 Proven Ways To Make Them Appear Smaller

If there’s something that all of us envy, it’s someone who appears to have flawless skin. For the women who do, if there’s one thing that a lot of them have in common, it’s the fact that their pores are small.

If you don’t have small pores, how do you get them? We really do hate to break it to you, but small pores -- for the most part -- are genetic. Although there are certain other things that can contribute to larger pores.

One is age. As we get older, our skin loses some of its natural elasticity which can lead to larger pores. Another factor is the amount of sebum our skin produces. While on one hand, oily skin can help to slow down the signs of aging, if you have it and don’t clean your skin regularly (and correctly) sebum and dirt can pile up and cause your pores to stretch.

Unfortunately, no matter what the cosmetics companies may tell you, there is no way to permanently shrink your pores. That’s the bad news. The good news is there are things that you can do to make them appear smaller and to keep them from becoming larger. Things that are totally natural.
