It doesn’t matter what your doctor or midwife, best friend or even your mama says. It doesn’t matter how many blogs or books you read either. Nothing—and we do mean NOTHING—can ever fully prepare you for all of the things that you go through during your pregnancy or the year that is to follow.

Not only is your body making major adjustments, so is your emotional state and even your libido. Because your hormones are taking a major roller coaster ride and you’re not getting as much sleep as you used to, your sex drive can be iffy at best.

If it’s coming up on a year now, your sex life still kinda sucks and you’re quietly wondering if this is how it’s gonna be until your baby goes off to school (high school, that is), chin up. 

First of all, you’re not alone. Secondly, there are things that you can do to ease back into the kind of sex you know and love; the kind that got your baby here in the first place!
