If your walls are painted with a dark hue of green, it’s time to lighten the shade, honey, because we’re so over it.

So good news. You can still keep things in the green family but we’re going to be going with emerald this year. Jewel tones are in!

Copper and brass accents may have worked with the dark paint job, but that’s got to go now that the walls are changing it up.

What you’re going to want to do is lighten those up too with a shimmer of gold or some touches of bronze.

Let’s all admit this right now, these did look cool for a second but come 2017 we want to get our lives even more in balance - even if that

means starting with the tile.

Swap those uneven tiles out for something a little more urban and modern. Subway tiles are all the rage right now and not just for public transportation anymore!

These are comfy as hell but they also look a bit like a college dorm when you break it down. No grown woman needs something that looks like a beanbag

chair for a couch.
