Gallery: Kim Kardashian Just Opened Up About Losing An Embryo And The Struggles Of Surrogacy
Well, at least one Kardashian-Jenner is opening up about her pregnancy on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
While she’s already acknowledged it publicly, Kim finally spoke out about expecting her third child via surrogate on the famous family's reality show over the weekend.
The reality TV world has been talking nonstop about the upcoming spin-offs — uh, children that are forthcoming for the Kardashian Klan: Both Khloé and Kylie are reportedly expecting their first kids, but the sisters have been resolute about not giving the rest of us a definite confirmation.
Kim, meanwhile, has already said that she and Kanye West are expecting a third, but her heartfelt admission about their struggle to give North and Saint another sibling definitely made an impact on Sunday's episode of KUWTK:
"It is frustrating to not be able to do it on your own. It is a weird dynamic," admitted Kim, 37. "Like I go to all the doctors' appointments and I try to be really present, but when you’re not carrying it yourself, it is such a fine balance of how much you’re going to be in their lives."
Kim also revealed that she lost an embryo during a fertility treatment she underwent before getting pregnant with Saint, which made her worry about her surrogate's odds of carrying her child: "It’s really nerve-wracking because you know it’s only a 60% chance it’ll take," she told Khloé, as Marie Claire pointed out. "One didn’t work for me. I tried it and I lost one of them.”
Kim’s brutal honesty is nothing new, FYI: She had a horrible time carrying North and Saint and never been shy about sharing her pregnancy struggles. Click through the gallery to see just what Kim has been through.
