As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. If you can depend on him, whether it be with little tasks such as fixing something in the house, or carrying in the

groceries, as well as for the bigger, more important milestones, than he's definitely a keeper. When they are there for you, and willing to take care of you, then that means they really care for you.

There are two types of nice guys -- the emotional, weak-willed men who will probably go as far as watching The Notebook with you, and then there are the nice guys who are still soft and

offer sympathy, yet strong and have a sense of self. They'll do things for you, but they also draw lines and tell you when you're being a bit ridiculous and over the

top. These are the type of men you hold on to.

I mean obviously we all want to date the successful, millionaire businessman type (que Christian Grey); however any man who works hard and is good at his job, while still maintaining a

sense of modesty is most definitely someone you should hold on to.

Sure, we women are pegged as the domestic ones, but if you find a man who can cook -- and I'm not talking about whipping up some mac 'n cheese --

but actually cook and wants to cook for you he's most certainly a keeper who aims to please.

This may seem vain and superficial -- but hear me out. A guy who works out and is in shape is not only one who places an importance on his health

and overall well-being, but maintains a routine and knows how to prioritize. Plus, he's of course, not bad to look at, and can probably last a little longer in the

sack as well.

Albeit simple, but an important one. You want a man who is smart and worldly, he knows things you don't and is always teaching you and thus challenging you to

try new things. He cares about things other than how many beers he's going to throw back on the weekend.

You want a man who is comfortable with who he is and isn't afraid to show his true colors when he is around you. He's the one making the plans and picking

the place to eat, because he knows what he wants and more importantly what he likes. He'll also be confident when it comes to taking the next step in your

relationship, which is definitely something you want.

We all love a good guy with a sense of humor who can make us smile. He not only can make jokes, but he can take them as well. He doesn't

take life too seriously and knows just the way to cheer you up when you're down.

He is without a doubt 110% all in if he not only tells you he loves you, but does little things to show you he loves you. He's not afraid to profess

his love for you on social media (#wcw) or talk about you with his friends. If he does any of the above, he's in this for the long haul and thinks

the world of you.

Arguments happen in relationships, and sometimes often, but that's okay. The most important part is how the two of you get through them. A real man isn't afraid to communicate and

talk things through; but more importantly, knows how to compromise and doesn't always have to be right.
