A few years ago, a long-distance couple did the sweetest thing ever! Since Sgt. Daniel Perdue was deployed in Afghanistan that year, he held one half of a Christmas greeting card while his wife, Christina Perdue (Westchester County, New York) held another. They posted it up on social media and people loved it so much, it went viral.

That got us to thinking about all of the couples who may be deeply in love this holiday season, but for whatever the reason, are apart. If you and yours fall into that category, sure nothing would be better than being in each other’s arms, curled up under a mistletoe. But if that’s not possible, there are still some things that you can do to make this a very sentimental and romantic Christmas for you both.
