So I had no idea what the hell this was until a lot of my friends started doing it with their kids. Basically, the Switch Witch is like the tooth fairy

for all your kids' trick or treating candy. You have your kids leave some, or maybe all, of their candy out for the Switch Witch and the next morning they get

a little present! (And you get to gorge yourself on mini Snickers for the next two months lmao)

If your kids are old enough to walk by themselves during trick or treating (lucky you, lol!) make sure you have a meet up point just in case you lose

each other. If you're going to a lot of different neighborhoods, make one house a meet up point on each culdesac or street.

Any good mommy knows to over prepare for pretty much everything. Halloween is no exception. Make sure you bring a bag with a flashlight, water, healthy snacks, and a small

first aid kid in case anyone falls down and scrapes a knee. Bonus points if your bag matches your costume lmao.

Halloween is super fun and a great way to teach your kids about safety. Make sure they know to only cross the street at corners and where there are marked

crosswalks. Tell them about making eye contact with drivers before you know it's safe to cross the street. Explain to them that they can't go up to houses without lights

on. This will all come in handy later in their lives!
