Black quarterbacks like Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, and Colin Kaepernick are household names for their amazing talent on the football field and humanitarian efforts off the field. But these guys stand on the shoulders of the giants that came before them. 

Historically, due to racism, Black players were not considered for the position of quarterback because being a QB meant you were the leader of the team...a field general of sorts. But players like Doug Williams and Warren Moon broke barriers and made history.  They showed the league that Black men could not only lead, but win...and win big! With Super Bowl LII coming up, let's pay homage to these top 10 Black quarterbacks of all time who paved the way. #BlackQB
