Makeup is fun, but sometimes you want to just say "F-you!" to a society that demands you put so much work into your appearance, just to go to the grocery store, or be taken seriously at work.

While we have a long way to go before women and men alike can roam the earth without makeup and not be asked "are you sick?" there are small steps that influencers are taking to reverse the trend, or at least inspire thought. Celebrities are increasingly taking to Instagram to show-off their fresh-faced, make-up free looks with the world, and prove that you don't need makeup to be beautiful.
