People Weren't Feeling Halle Berry's "Natural Hair" At The Oscars

Halle Berry is an icon. As the only black woman to have an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role, we expect her to own the red carpet. Unfortunately, that was not the case...

When Halle Berry hit the Oscars red carpet in what appeared to be a Shake-N-Go wig, fans on Twitter went IN. How is Halle Berry, the icon, about to throw on a wig like that and expect people not to say anything?

Later on in the night, Berry clarified that it wasn't a wig, it was her natural hair.

“I have always marched to the beat to my own drum, and I think this red-carpet look encapsulates that,” said Berry. “The dress is glamorous with a sense of romance that made me feel feminine and fresh. With this look, I celebrate my natural hair by allowing it to be wild and free.”

Natural hair? Oh, girl....
