Did You Know That Lemons Are A Natural Chill Pill?

It doesn’t matter if it’s the taste or smell of lemons. If you’re a lover of either one, there’s great news! It turns out that if you inhale the scent of lemons for around 10 minutes, it has a natural stress-relieving effect. One that can help to reduce anxiety while alleviating depression symptoms and even eliminating anger. (Who knew?!)

Actually, lemons aren’t the only fruits that have this effect on our bodies. All citrus fruits do. But because lemons don’t always get the media love that they deserve, we decided to take out a moment to shout them out.

Whether it’s lemonade, a lemon smoothie or some sort of recipe that calls for lemons, here are some of the reasons why you shouldn’t go one week without getting some into your system.
