If you keep up with the celebrity blogs, then you may have heard that singer Janet Jackson is reportedly pregnant---at the age of 50! She is just one of the many examples that it’s not impossible to conceive after 40. Not even close.

We will be real with you, though. According to many scientific studies and medical reports, it's around that age that making a baby can be much more challenging than it was when you were in your 20s and 30s. That’s not to discourage you. It’s just to prepare you for some of the things that you need to do if you want natural conception to take place.

If that's you, here are six things that all women 40 and over need to keep in mind about getting pregnant.
