Most southern belles have a clean vocabulary, but the ones who don't know better than to spew expletives on their social pages. Instead of saying what they really think, they

use alternate phrases like "bless your heart" to disguise their true disgruntled feelings.

Classy southern ladies make sure to stay covered up in any photographs they post of themselves. No scantily clad outfits, skin baring clothing or inappropriate poses. WWJT (what would Jesus

think?) is a great question to ask before posting any images online.

So many people use social media as an outlet to release pent up emotions about friends, spouses or neighbors. A good southern girl knows to stay out of other people's

business and refrain from spreading gossip. In a small town, word gets around fast, so it's best to just stay quiet.

wearing no makeup, and she's most likely going to have a big grin on her face.

Politics aren't entirely off limits. But if you're a southern Democrat, it's best you keep it to yourself. Refrain from getting into conversations with Republicans or conservative southerners. You're the

odd man out in this case, and in the south, politics are serious business. Just smile and ask anyone who brings up politics to pray for you.
