When you’re in a serious relationship (especially if you’re married), at some point, birth control is going to come up. Until you’re in an exclusive situation, hopefully it goes without saying that you should ALWAYS USE A CONDOM (yes, we are yelling it!). But sooner or later, your man may get sick of having to “strap up” every time, your vagina may not be as thrilled with latex as you would like and/or you want to have a way to enjoy sex if you don’t have a pack of prophylactics on hand.

Still, you don’t wanna have a baby yet and you might not want to put extra hormones into your system. Is there a remedy for all of this?

How about the pull out method? Yeah, we know. Sounds like something your high school boyfriend tried to get you to do or something one of your friends attempted and got pregnant without planning to be. But if you take a few facts into account, it’s not quite as risky as you might think.

It’s not 100 percent reliable (not even close), but it results in a failure rate of 4 to every 100 attempts. Not a condom’s average, but still not bad. Before attempting it tonight, here are some other things you should know.
