Bride-to-be Amanda De Pascale was left "shaken and shell-shocked" after receiving an email from a dessert company that was anything but sweet.
De Pascale, who lives on Long Island, had initially contacted a food truck called Sweetery about providing desserts on her big day next February. When Sweetery emailed her back with a quote ($2,900 for the day), she mentally noted that it was out of her price range and forgot to respond. That didn't sit well with Sweetery.
"They kept calling me, multiple times an hour, then would stop for a few hours, then call back again," De Pascale told Fox News. "I told them, 'I can’t talk right now, I’m at work,' and hung up. But he (Sweetery owner and cofounder Grant DiMille) continued to call and call for about two weeks."
De Pascale was astounded when a bitter email from Sweetery wound up in her inbox in early November. Here are some, uh, highlights:
"We have zero idea what type of warped sick games you are playing with us, but now it is time for us to have a say. You are a despicable bottom feeding wretched disgrace of a person, who is as disgusting as they come."
