Sometimes you come up across an article that leaves you thinking “I don’t care what the experts say, it can’t be true.” Basically, this is how we feel about one entitled "Sex Not Exercise – Study Disproves Myth".
Yeah, we checked out the research aaaand, long story short is that since sex lasts an average of six minutes for couples, there’s no way you could get as much cardio as you need on the daily.
Our take? That’s not sex’s fault. We just need to work harder at bringing our “A” game. Or, we need to be open to more than one round at a time because aside from these experts, others say that you can burn as much as 500 calories an hour. Plus, sex strengthens your bones and muscles, reduces stress, releases the “feel good hormone” known as oxytocin. And it’s just so much fun!
