Sure, it's a little old fashioned but that doesn't make it any less fun. Pick the most beautiful spot in your favorite park and have a sweet little picnic. All

you really need is your favorite old quilt and some snacks. 

If you want to get a little fancy with it, make some elegant little fingers sandwiches and bring a bottle

of wine (or sparkling juice). If you guys are a little more low key, bring along some gas station snacks or a couple burgers from your favorite fast food joint. 

It doesn't

matter what or how much you bring, as long as you get to enjoy each other's company on a beautiful day in a beautiful place. 

Museums aren't always the cheapest places to visit, but almost every one of them in the country has certain days when attendance is either free or a greatly reduced price.

Whether it's modern art full of cool abstract monstrosities or classic renaissance pieces, there's something so romantic about art that makes museums perfect locations for dates.  

Even if the food ends up tasting awful, seeing a super hot guy cook in person is something that you need to experience at least once in your life. 

Save money and cook

at home instead of going to a restaurant. You can make something as simple as pizza or as complex at filet mignon. The time spent making something delicious together will

be totally unforgettable. 

Drive-ins, in all of their coolness, are pretty hard to find these days depending on where you live. If you and your s/o want to experience all the magic of

a drive in at half the price and none of the pain of having to find one, create your own movie theater in your backyard. 

While this activity does require a

projector, you can create a screen out of a simple white sheet and get comfortable in the grass on a bunch of blankets and pillows. Enjoy romantic movies under the

stars and thank us later for the idea. 

While comedy clubs are definitely fun, they are often expensive and require things like two drink minimums. If you want to experience a night full of laughs without any of

the pressure, head to a local improv show. 

The talent may be a little rusty and kind of weird at times, but the show will be sure to make great conversation

and an even better date night story after the fact. 

If you live close to a beach, you may be a little disenchanted with its beauty, but a romantic date is the perfect time to rediscover all of the natural,

amazingness they present. 

Soft sand, pretty pebbles, crashing waves, it's hard to think of a more romantic date location to be perfectly honest. 

Not every date has to be centered around a meal and entertainment, sometimes all you need is a nice cup of coffee and the presence of someone you really want

to be with. 

Take a trip to your favorite local coffee shop, sit down at one of the tables, and spend a couple hours talking, laughing, and falling in love. 

You've seen the visual a million times in music videos and romantic movies, but that doesn't make it any less romantic. Sitting passenger side with someone you love right next

to you, driving down a winding road surrounded by nature, with your favorite song on the radio. 

It's almost romantic enough to make you burst. Even if you don't have

a specific destination or goal in mind, scenic drives are a pretty damn romantic way to spend the day. 

Concerts are another activity that aren't known for being particularly cheap, but local shows and open mic nights are often times completely free and just as fun. 

Check out venues and

bars near you for bands that sound cool and plan your next date around the show. Not only will you get the chance to discover some new music, but it

will be super romantic as well.
