We've seen those cool vintage Coca Cola ads with a red cheeked Santa inviting us to give soda for Christmas. 

But do you remember Santa telling you to buy cigarettes for your stocking stuffers?

Yep, there were quite a few gifts advertised that we would NEVER see today. From cigarettes to guns for kids, it's amazing Christmas didn't become a holiday of death by 1955.
