We know that walking is good for us, but just how good is it?
In a report from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Thomas Frieden (Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), boasts that it's the best kind of medicine:
"It's the closest thing we have to a wonder drug," he said.
In a post for MindBodyGreen, personal trainer Brian Syuki praises the benefits of walking each day:
"You can easily burn 500 calories a day by walking," Syuki writes. "And the best thing about walking is you can do it anywhere—at work, home, or school."
