When people ask me if I have an Instagram account I say yes. I do. That's not a lie. A better question though is why I have one. It's not to keep up with friends and their lives. I can see that on Facebook or Twitter. Instagram is all about memes. The wonderful, wonderful world of the best memes.

A simple moment in reality that's made fantastically comical with a caption, or a line from a song that inspired people to say they could not come to the phone right now. The 21st century has given us a lot of good things, but we can all agree that memes have been on the greater side of the good. That's why we have to talk about the absolute best memes of 2017.
