With African drums being played behind him, the Black Panther himself Chadwick Boseman looked like a King representing one of the most anticipated films of 2018!

Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o SHUT DOWN the purple carpet, in purple go figure, to give us the African queen that she actually is! 

Lupita recently told The Hollywood Reporter that

she accepted the role before she even read the script, because she wanted to be part of this film sooooo bad!

We can't wait to see her kick serious butt!

Sterling K. Brown and his beautiful wife Ryan Michelle Bathe were there with one of their sons to celebrate the film and Sterling's performance in it. Apparently, he plays N’Jobu, a

figure from T’Challa’s past. 

This should definitely be interesting!

Angela Bassett took time off from her "911" TV set to bless us with her beauty at the premiere. 

The Oscar nominee told Entertainment Tonight, "This is the

night you can be over the top -- we are in Wakanda, right? It's bold, it's bad, it's beautiful. It's all about colors, all about heat, and I think we're

bringing that tonight on the purple carpet."

And heat is exactly what she brought!

While "Thor: Ragnarok's" Tessa Thompson may not be in the Black Panther world...yet...she came to cheer on her Marvel family. 

That family includes Ryan Coogler, who also directed her in

his second feature film, "Creed."

Daniel Kaluuya looked like an African prince in his traditional Ugandan garb on Monday night. 

And be clear: This is gonna be a big month for the British actor! Not

only does "The Black Panther" drop, he is up for Best Actor at the Academy Awards for "Get Out."
