Millennials are the universal go-to for blame and shame. We either are the reason the economy sucks, or the reason avocados are in a shortage, there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Most recently, Twitter got in on the poking and made fun of the world's least-favorite generation's intelligence. 

With a series of tweets united by #HowToConfuseAMillenial, older generations called out millenials for their ignorance, lack of appreciation for classics and overall obsession with technology.

But, this time, millenials decided to drop the scapegoat image. Younger, and arguably sassier tweeters called out older generations for their lack of appreciation for millennials. They took the same trending #HowToConfuseAMillenial and spit back with sarcastic, but shockingly accurate 140-character responds. The new trend was based off of the idea that millennials are constantly subject to so much hate, but when they do listen to their superiors, all they get are contradictions. 

Regardless of generation, the trend had all generations sit back and laugh in agreement at the most hilarious tweets.
