In Driving While Black, a comedy that’s out on February 1, 2018, we meet Dmitri (Dominique Purdy), whose ninja skill at going unnoticed by cops is honed by scary and sometimes funny experiences growing up Black in L.A., but even his survival instincts won't save him from this comedy of errors as he tries to get to an important job interview. The movie has sparked a lot of debate, so we sat down with director Paul Sapiano to get the real story behind the film.
