Humans with time on their hands can create almost anything, and the cake artists on display here have come up with some truly spectacular examples of animals fashioned in cake. Using Rice Krispy treats and cake to mold the bodies, and by hand painting and sometimes spray painting they have made some very realistic looking animals. Sometimes whimsical, and sometimes natural looking the chefs often use some truly clever suspension techniques to create special effects like you see with the Kung Fu Panda cake below.
