What makes a relationship fail? Is it miscommunication, dishonesty, a lack of respect for one another? If you’re anything like me, you’re not entirely sure. But thanks to a study published in the journal of Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, we can now have better understanding of why long term relationships don’t always work out. 

That’s not to say every reason in this study is concrete! Every relationship is different and not everyone has the same deal breakers. However, I think this list gives a rather accurate depiction of why a majority of relationships end. But I’ll let you be the judge.
